What are your core areas of expertise?

I’ve been an employment lawyer for more than 30 years. I have considerable experience across all aspects of employment law and human resources, with a specialist knowledge of contentious matters. My forte is delivering strategic advice at board level.

However, for the last couple of years I have had the privilege of being Managing Partner of our market-leading Business Services Group which provides the full spectrum of advisory, transactional and dispute resolution services to businesses, including:

What have been your key successes as National Head of the Business Services Group?

What were the most significant matters you have led on?

As a specialist employment lawyer, I have advised boards and senior leadership teams on significant workforce change, including business reorganisations, TUPE transfers, and complex employee-relations issues, providing pragmatic advice that balances legal risk with wider commercial priorities.

I continue to act as lead relationship partner for several major national organisations, coordinating a number of aspects of legal support and developing longstanding client relationships built around responsiveness, commercial understanding, and consistent service delivery.

As Managing Partner, I have led significant strategic investments in the growth of the Business Services Group, to strengthen the firm’s national capability, leadership depth, and client proposition. One of my key achievements has been leading the recruitment and integration of senior lateral partners and teams into the Business Services Group. These appointments have broadened the firm's expertise, expanded our geographic reach, strengthened client relationships, and supported the continued growth of the business in priority sectors and markets.

I have built a reputation for pragmatic leadership, commercial judgement, and an ability to bring people together around a common goal. Colleagues and clients value my collaborative approach, strategic perspective, and focus on delivering practical outcomes.
