Youth Mobility Visa

The earliest you can apply for a Youth Mobility visa is six months before you travel.

The application must be completed online, and as part of the application process, you will need to prove your identity and provide supporting documents.

Required documents vary depending on your circumstances and nationality.

Youth Mobility visa holders may work in most jobs without limitations on the type or sector and can be self-employed and set up a company, however there are a number of restrictions.

This visa does not allow holders to bring family members or dependants to the UK; dependants must apply to come to the UK under a different immigration route.

We will normally be able to submit most types of application within 2 weeks of instruction provided we have received all the necessary documentation, however in urgent cases we can make an application more quickly.

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. However, the current processing times can be found on the Home Office website.
